Boys’ Tennis Wins AA State Championship

The Boys’ Tennis team beat Edina 6-1 to win the 2025 AA State Championship. This is the Trojans third consecutive AA State Championship and their seventh in team history (1993, 1999, 2013, 2014, 2023, 2024, 2025).

The Trojans wrapped up their second undefeated season in a row with a 6-1 victory over Edina at Baseline Tennis Center. They dropped only three sets throughout the tournament.

That included a potential singles final preview Wednesday morning. Wayzata’s Aaron Beduhn, the second seed in the individual tournament that begins Thursday, topped Mounds View singles No. 1 seed Soren Swenson, 7-6 (1), 4-6, 10-5.

Beduhn’s win in the final clinched the championship.
