Swim and Dive Boys

Description of sport: Boys competitive swimming and diving consisting of a varsity and JV team.

Season commitment: Practice begins November 24, 2025. Practice and compete five to six days per week with one to two competitions per week.

Eligibility requirements: Students in grades 7-12 who meet MSHSL and Wayzata Public Schools’ Eligibility Requirements.

Tryouts/Cuts: Yes 

Costs and/or needed equipment: Participation fee, swimsuit and goggles.

Who Can Join

Swimming: Wayzata students in grades 7-12 may register for the team. Our goal roster size is 48 swimmers. To make the team, swimmers will need to demonstrate an ability to finish practices as written and be capable of performing all four strokes, turns and starts.  The first week of training is considered a “tryout” period, and, if needed, cuts will be made by the second Monday. 

Diving: We can usually accommodate all divers registered.
