Swim and Dive Girls

Description of sport: Girls competitive swimming and diving consisting of a varsity and JV team.

Season commitment: Practice begins August 17, 2026. The season is 14 weeks for varsity and 11-12 weeks for JV. Practice and compete six days per week. One to two competitions per week, typically on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday.

Eligibility requirements: Students in grades 7-12 who meet MSHSL and Wayzata Public Schools Eligibility Requirements. 

Tryouts/Cuts: Yes

Costs and/or needed equipment: Participation fee, swim suit, goggles, and a cap.

Additionally: Swimmers should be familiar with all four competitive strokes. Divers should be familiar with 6 and 11 dive lists.
