Wayzata High School National Signing Day
Students should contact their coach or the athletic director if they are receiving athletic aide and wish to be part of upcoming ceremonies.
Guidelines are as follows:
1. The signing ceremony only applies to Division I and Division II Athletic Scholarships or those athletes attending a military academy or an Ivy League school to participate in athletics.
2. The signing ceremony does not pertain to those students who are recruited walk-ons, students receiving a financial aid package based on academic or financial need, or a signing of a commitment letter.
SIGNING MEANS THREE THINGS:
- You are committed to one year at the university. You do not need to sign another agreement after the first year. The school is required to let you know if your athletic aid is being renewed after the first year.Â
- Your recruiting journey is over. Once you sign a written offer, no other schools can recruit you, and you are not permitted to contact coaches at other institutions.Â
- If you have been invited to walk-on (no scholarship), you will not sign an agreement.Â
